Dr. Thomas Gryb was born and raised in Oriental, NC, and is excited to return closer to home. He attended East Carolina University, earning a degree in Engineering before continuing at the ECU School of Dental Medicine, where he received his Doctorate in Dental Medicine. During dental school, Dr. Gryb received the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID) Dental Student Award and was nominated for the Hanau “Best of the Best” Prosthodontic Award. He went on to complete an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the Fayetteville Veterans Affairs Medical Center, further developing his skills in comprehensive dental care and implant training. After residency, Dr. Gryb was eager to return closer to home and join the team at Harvey Dental. His goal is to make each visit as comfortable and enjoyable as possible while creating treatment plans that fit each patient's individual needs. He believes the foundation of great dentistry is listening, building trust, and making sure patients feel informed and confident in their care. Outside of the office, Dr. Gryb enjoys spending time with his wife, Ashley, and their growing family. He also enjoys hunting, fishing, golf, and staying active through exercise.
